Gary Dourdan Issued Statement

“CSI” star Gary Dourdan has issued a statement to Access Hollywood over his arrest in Palm Springs last weekend.

Dourdan was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning in Palm Springs, for drug possession after being found asleep in his car, allegedly in the driver’s seat, parked on the wrong side of the road.

“Obviously I certainly wish I hadn’t been responsible for so many people getting to the festival’s VIP area,” Dourdan wrote in an e-mail to Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, referring to California’s annual Coachella festival, which he regularly attends. “And the after party, it ran me ragged, but I’m glad pulling over did prevent a DUI. I recommend not driving at all, but a little kip (nap) is always good (on either side of the road LOL).”

When officer’s searched Dourdan’s vehicle they found “suspected cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, miscellaneous prescription drugs and paraphernalia,” local police previously told Access Hollywood.

He was arrested and released on $5,000 bail at 10:30 AM on Monday.

In his e-mail, Dourdan said the substances found in the car did not belong to him.

“I am blessed that the Sgt. realized that the luggage carrying whatever they found was not mine and that my tests have been coming back negative,” Dourdan’s e-mail continued. “I’ve been happy to cooperate in any way to clear myself and go on with my blessed life.”

Dourdan offered his apologies to his fans, in the message.

“I am so sorry to all my fans, especially the young ones, like Taylor Swift, who I should’ve been supporting with my daughter instead of driving tired in the desert,” he wrote. “I am planning events to get the word out that you don’t need a bunch of nasty chemicals to have a good time. Just good friends, family, good music and a good honest spirit full of faith.”

Dourdan had been expected to present teen country sensation Swift an award at Hollywood Life Magazine’s 10th Annual Young Hollywood Awards, last Sunday, as “CSI” is a favorite show of the star.”

What?  He needs more people!

R. Kelly posted this picture on his MySpace page. I try not to pick on R. Kelly, because I really think he is mentally ill, but this picture is hilarious.

“Britney Spears’ former manager Larry Rudolph confirms to that he has met the singer and says she’s “doing great.”I have spent time with her, and she is on the right path because she has people around her who really care about her well-being,” Rudolph said.He would not comment further, explaining, “this isn’t the time to talk business. This is a time for healing.”Last week, a source tells Us that Spears met with Rudolph, who is credited for discovering her and managing her career for 9 years. (They stopped talking last February after she blamed him for forcing her into rehab.) “People close to Britney know that Larry is the best person for her,” a friend of the Spears family told Us. “He’s the man who can get her back on the right track career-wise.”

Rudolph is currently producing the MTV show Rock the Cradle, which debuts April 3.”

I am choosing not to believe Star Magazine, because it’s just too much. Seriously, no one is that stupid! This better be a part of some master plan that ends in Kevin’s sudden relocation to places unknown, never to be heard from again. I am going to focus on the Larry news, and allow myself believe that Brit Brit is going to be okay.
